This clean lined table has steel legs and a white marble top ensuring your living room looks sleek and refined with its clean cool looks. The original designer behind this elegant coffee table was the Danish Poul Kjærholm who created several beautiful design classics many of which are available in reproduction from Stin.com. The PK63 was designed to work with the PK31 sofa which he designed in 1968 but we think it will work equally well with any streamlined contemporary sofa.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Poul Kjærholm
1929-1980 (Denmark)
Unlike his Scandinavian contemporaries who worked primarily with wood, Poul Kjærholm’s passion was steel. He liked to combine the cool beauty of the metal with other materials such as wood, leather, cane or marble. “Steel’s constructive potential is not the only thing that interests me; the refraction of light on its surface is an important part of my artistic work. I consider steel a material with the same artistic merit as wood and leather,” he commented.
