Hans J. Wegner Wing Chair Stool

The Ottoman is made from a choice of either luxury cashmere or top grain aniline leather, which has a natural appearance that improves with age. The tubular legs are made from polished stainless steel. There is a wide choice of colours to suit every taste.
The story behind the Wing Chair Stool
Hans J. Wegner created the Wing Chair in 1960 together with the Wing Chair Stool and it has since become one of the designer's most celebrated works. It has won several international awards including, a classic innovation award for its timeless appeal at the IMM Cologne furniture fair in 2006.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Hans J. Wegner
1914-2007 (Denmark)
Danish furniture designer, Hans J. Wegner was a pioneer of Organic Functionality, which seamlessly merged natural shapes with practical applications. His designs significantly contribute to the international popularity of mid-century Danish design. In his lifetime he designed over 500 different chairs, over 100 of which were put into mass production and many became design icons. His most iconic designs include the Y Chair, the CH07 Lounge Chair, the Ox Chair, the Style Hoop Chair, The Chair and the Wing Chair.
