About the Y Chair Barstool

The Y Barstool is an adaptation of Hans J. Wegner's iconic Y or Wishbone Chair. The name is inspired by the delicate design on the rear of the chair, which offers support for the back as well. A chair that is crafted from Beech, the Y Barstool is a simple and slender design that is available in a natural or walnut finish. Use this barstool in a kitchen or bar area that deserves a luxury, organic piece. The hand-weaved paper code on the seat indicates the high level of detail that has established this chair as an icon.

The story behind the Hans J. Wegner Y Chair Barstool

Hans J. Wegner's Y Barstool is directly inspired by one of the Danish designer's most famous chairs. It combines the minimalism you expect from Scandinavian innovation, but this design also carefully incorporates everyday function into its specifications. The Y Chair Barstool is a mid-century classic with a lean and graceful design, and has remained at the top of the list for design lovers since it was first devised.
